Services

Good Counsell provides counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples navigating stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Our services are practical, structured, and focused on helping you understand what’s happening, stabilize your capacity, and build skills you can apply in everyday life.

We offer individual sessions, couples support, and short-term focused plans designed to address specific concerns such as burnout, anxiety, boundaries, and major transitions. Whether you’re looking for ongoing support or a clear starting point, our approach is flexible, goal-oriented, and grounded in real-world application.

History

Good Counsell was created to offer a more practical, accessible approach to therapy—one that meets people where they are and focuses on meaningful, usable change. Built as part of a broader integrated wellness group, the practice reflects a shift toward care that is both professional and adaptable to the demands of everyday life.

From the beginning, the focus has been on clarity, consistency, and trust. Good Counsell continues to grow as a space where individuals and couples can access high-quality support without unnecessary complexity—delivered by regulated professionals with a commitment to straightforward, effective care.

People and culture

At Good Counsell, our work is grounded in professionalism, consistency, and respect for the people we serve. We prioritize clear communication, practical support, and a calm, steady approach—so clients know what to expect and can focus on meaningful progress.

Our culture values thoughtful care over complexity. We aim to create an environment that is supportive, structured, and responsive to real life, where clients feel understood, respected, and equipped with tools they can actually use outside of sessions.

M.A. in Counselling Psychology

Greg supports individuals navigating stress, burnout, grief, identity transitions, and the emotional demands that often come with service-oriented careers.

With a background in public service, Greg brings a deep, lived understanding of high-pressure environments, unspoken expectations, and the cumulative impact of carrying responsibility over time. He offers a confidential, nonjudgmental space where clients can speak openly—without needing to explain the culture or context they come from.

His approach is steady, practical, and grounded in real life. Greg works collaboratively with clients to make sense of their experiences, recognize patterns, and reconnect with their internal resources. Drawing on trauma-informed and strengths-based principles, he helps individuals build clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of direction.

Greg’s work is especially attuned to first responders, public sector professionals, and others who quietly carry significant responsibility. He focuses on helping clients move forward through sustainable, manageable steps that support both mental and physical wellbeing.

At the core of his work is the belief that while we can’t always control what happens, we can learn how to respond with greater awareness, compassion, and steadiness.
